Pay and Download / Video on Demand

Some of our movies can directly be downloaded in high quality for a fee, so that we don't need to burn, pack and ship the movies as DVD. Therefore you get these movies at a reduced rate and you save shipping costs.

Payment and instand download

You can make payments using traditional bank transfer or PayPal.

With an existing PayPal account or with PayPal together with a credit card, the movie can be downloaded immediately at the end of the order process. After payment has been made, our system will automatically send you the download link by email.

Video format and subtitles

The movies are offered as highly compressed MP4. Thereby the amount of data transferred can be considerably reduced, mostly maintaining the original quality. The MP4 have at least DVD resolution with 576x720 pixels. Films recorded in HDV are offered as MP4 with 576x1024 pixels which results in much higher quality than usual DVD resolution, because in 16:9 the image is not anamorphic any more.

In order to run the MP4 movies smoothly, we recommend a computer that is more or less up to date. The minimum clock rate is 2.4 Ghz single core and 500 MB Ram. For playing the movies we recommend the VLC Video Lan Client http://www.videolan.org/vlc which is freely available for Windows, Linux and Mac.

Subtitles are included within the mp4 file. You can select them in the VLC Player using the context menu that can be accessed with the right mouse button.
